A stunning historic landmark in Québec City! The Parliament Building is an architectural gem with beautiful Beaux-Arts design and an impressive façade. The grounds are well-maintained, with statues, fountains, and gardens that make it perfect for a stroll or photos. Guided tours are available for free and offer fascinating insight into Québec’s history, politics, and architecture. Even if you don’t go inside, the exterior views — especially from across the boulevard or from Dufferin Terrace — are worth seeing. A must-visit spot for history buffs, architecture lovers, and anyone exploring Old Québec.
We decided as a family to visit the parliament building in Quebec City. My wife booked online and we arrived on the slotted time scheduled with no issues. The presentation and tour was conducted in English. The tour guide was a young student and verse the tour beautifully and made it very enjoyable, interesting and fun. I learned a-lot so did my family. Very beautiful and historical place to visit and why not it is also free to the public.

This amazing structure is the Parliament Building, situated on Parliament Hill in Quebec City, which serves as the seat of the National Assembly of Quebec (provincial legislature). It is designed by architect Eugène-Etienne Taché. The building is notable for its French Renaissance-inspired style and elaborate façade decorated with statues. It serves as the center of Quebec's political heritage.
Stunning building (day and night). The tour is an absolute must-do activity. Tour guides are super engaging as they share the history of Canadian and Province of Quebec government systems, as well as the Parliament building. Tour is free and lasts one hour. Make a reservation online in advance and get there 30 mins early to get through security. Make sure to see the Library after the tour.
